ONIX micro Flow Control System |
(model #MV-121) |
This minimal flow box enables manual flow control of the ONIX binary switching microfluidic plates (Y2, Y8, M2, M8). Best suited for users who do not require computer control and where precision flow control is not critical. Requires pressurized air and vacuum for operation. |

The CellASIC Manifold is used in conjunction with the microfluidic plate to allow flow control during experimentation. The manifold is set on top of the wells of the plate, and forms an air tight seal using a vacuum mechanism. Each column of the plate is then separately addressed with pneumatic pressure to drive liquids into the microfluidic channels. An optical window is cut over the imaging area. The exit wells are vented to atmosphere to prevent pressure buildup. |
