We are actively investigating approaches to use our technology to develop more physiologically relevant cell/tissue models. The essential concept is to recreate "micro-units" found in the human body in order to elucidate behaviors not possible with static culture methods. The end result will be a better understanding of the human biology, reduced reliance on animal models, and safer and more effective therapeutics in the clinic.
